Jessica Chastain to Play Tormented Artist in Dramedy LOSING CLEMENTINE

Jessica Chastain to Play Tormented Artist in Dramedy LOSING CLEMENTINE
Two-time Oscar nominee Jessica Chastain ("Molly's Game", "Zero Dark Thirty") is set to star in the upcoming dramedy "Losing Clementine", which is set to shopped by Sierra/Affinity at AFM. The film will be directed by Lucia Puenzo ("XXY") from a script penned by Ann Cherkis ("Better Call Saul") based on Ashley Ream's debut novel of the same name.

Chastain will star as Clementine Pritchard, a famous sharp-tongued artist who gives herself one month to settle her messy affairs before ending her life as she battles depression. But while checking off her bucket list, Pritchard uncovers secrets about her family and a tragedy that impacted her mother and sister.

Jeeny and Michael Miller of Miller Way will serve as executive producers alongside Sentient's Jake Martin and Maryam Lieberman, and Ann Cherkis.

Chastain's next project includes the spy thriller "355" for Universal, and the Fox biopic "The Eyes of Tammy Faye", in which she stars opposite Andrew Garfield.
