"Watchmen" is a superhero drama series created, executive produced and writer by Damon Lindelof ("Lost", "The Leftovers"). The show is loosely based on Alan Moore and Dave Gibbons' groundbreaking DC Comics comic book limited series, and it's set in an alternative, contemporary reality in the United States.

Thirty-four years after the events in the comics, masked vigilantes became outlawed due to their violent methods, Robert Redford is the longest-serving President of the United States, and a white supremacist terrorist group inspired by the now-deceased Rorschach calling themselves "The Seventh Cavalry" begin committing terrorist attacks against members of the police.

The cast features Regina King, Don Johnson, Tim Blake Nelson, Louis Gossett Jr., Jessica Camacho, Andrew Howard, Yahya Abdul-Mateen II, Jeremy Irons, Jacob Ming-Trent, Frances Fisher and Robert Redford.

"Watchmen" premiered on October 20, 2019 on HBO.
