The sixth season of the comedy series "Younger" has premiered on June 12, 2019 on TV Land. Created by Darren Star ("Beverly Hills, 90210", "Sex and the City"), the show follows Liza Miller (Sutton Foster), a recently divorced 40-year-old mother, who is mistaken for younger than she really is and gets a chance to reboot her career and her love life as a 26-year old.

In the new season, Charles (Peter Hermann) and Liza deal with the changes in leadership at Empirical Press while Kelsey (Hilary Duff) begins her new position as publisher for Millennial Print. The cast also includes Debi Mazar, Miriam Shor, Nico Tortorella, Molly Bernard and Charles Michael Davis.

Miriam Shor Set to Direct Again This Season

New York, NY, April 9, 2019 -- Younger is making its big return this summer! The critically acclaimed, smash-hit series from the Emmy winning writer-producer Darren Star will remain at TV Land when it debuts its upcoming sixth season on Wednesday, June 12 at 10:00 p.m. ET/PT.

In season six, Kelsey (Duff) is leaning into her new role as publisher at the freshly minted Millennial Print, while Liza and Charles get acclimated to their new normal now that Charles (Hermann) is no longer running the business.

Guest stars Tony(R) winner Laura Benanti, Phoebe Dynevor, Michael Urie and recurring cast member Chris Tardio make their returns, and Nicole Ari Parker (Empire) will play Maggie's (Mazar) love interest in a multi-episode arc. Other notable guest stars this season include novelist and screenwriter Michael Cunningham (The Hours), novelist Meg Wolitzer (The Wife) and actresses Becky Ann Baker (Girls), Willa Fitzgerald (Dare Me) and Tony(R) winner Beth Leavel.

Additionally, 2018 Critic's Choice supporting actress nominee Miriam Shor, who plays Diana, is confirmed to direct an episode this season. This will be Shor's second time directing the series.

Season five of Younger aired in summer 2018 and was its highest-rated season to date among P 18-49 (L+SD). The series' passionate fan base has helped the series expand off the TV screen to include the five-star reviewed weekly podcast, Younger Uncovered, a weekly after-show entitled Getting Younger, and the launch of a book from Simon and Schuster entitled, Marriage Vacation.
