The 2018 action-adventure film "Robin Hood" is a modern retelling of the classic story of Robin of Loxley (Taron Egerton), a war-hardened Crusader who becomes the titular outlaw, and with the help of his Moorish commander, Little John (Jamie Foxx), takes on the corrupt English crown. Directed by Otto Bathurst ("Peaky Blinders", "Black Mirror"), the film also stars Ben Mendelsohn, Eve Hewson, Jamie Dornan, Tim Minchin and F. Murray Abraham.

"Robin Hood" opened in theaters on November 21, 2018 and was mauled by critics. It also flopped at the box-office, grossing $14.2 million over the five-day Thanksgiving weekend against a $100 million budget.
