This week in theaters we have the final chapter in the "Maze Runner" franchise titled "Maze Runner: The Death Cure", and the western drama "Hostiles" starring Christian Bale. In limited release it might be worth checking out the indie dramas "American Folk" and "Please Stand By" starring Dakota Fanning.

Making the harrowing and perilous journey from Fort Berringer, an isolated Army outpost in New Mexico, to the grasslands of Montana, the former rivals encounter a young widow (Rosamund Pike), whose family was murdered on the plains. Together, they must join forces to overcome the punishing landscape, hostile Comanche and vicious outliers that they encounter along the way.

Both desperately needing to get back to New York, they embark on a cross-country journey in a 1972 Chevy Van. Along the way, the duo finds solace in their mutual love of classic folk songs, and raising their voices with everyday people they meet on the road. They re-discover the healing nature of music and bear witness to a nation of people who lift each other up in the wake of tragedy.
