The "Will & Grace" revival series premiered on September 28th, 2017 on NBC. After the show aired its final episode in 2006, it has been brought back for 13 new episodes, and has already been renewed for another season.

Creators Max Mutchnick and David Kohan, and director James Burrows are all back, and the revival will ignore the series finale. So, Will (Eric McCormack) and Grace (Debra Messing) are once again single, childless, and still living in their New York City apartment. Also returning are Sean Hayes and Megan Mullally.

THE GOOD DOCTOR Series Trailer, Promos, Featurettes, Images and Posters

"The Good Doctor" is a new medical drama from "House" creator David Shore. Based on the 2013 South Korean series of the name, the show stars Freddie Highmore ("Bates Motel") as Shaun Murphy, a young surgeon with autism and Savant syndrome, who is recruited into the pediatric surgical unit of a prestigious hospital. The show is produced by Daniel Dae Kim ("Lost") and also stars Antonia Thomas, Nicholas Gonzalez, Chuku Modu, Beau Garrett, Hill Harper and Richard Schiff.

"The Good Doctor" premiered on September 25th, 2017 on ABC. The next episode will air on October 2nd.

STAR TREK: DISCOVERY Series Trailers, Clips, Featurettes, Images and Posters

"Star Trek: Discovery" is the first new series set in the Star Trek universe since 2001's "Enterprise". Created by Alex Kurtzman (writer on both "Star Trek" reboot installments directed by J.J. Abrams) and Bryan Fuller ("Hannibal, "American Gods"), the show is set 10 years before the events of the original series and it follows the adventures of the U.S.S Discovery, as it sets out to explore strange new worlds and boldly go where no one has gone before.

Production on the series was delayed when Fuller had to depart as showrunner. He remains attached to the project as a producer, alongside "Wrath of Khan" director Nicholas Meyer. Gretcher J. Berg and Aaron Harberts were brought on board as showrunners.

The cast features Sonequa Martin-Green, Jason Isaacs, Michelle Yeoh, Doug Jones, Rekha Sharma, Maulik Pancholy, Rainn Wilson and Mary Wiseman.

"Star Trek: Discovery" premieres tonight, September 23rd, 2017 on CBS at 8:30p. Following tonight's premiere, the series can be watched exclusively on the CBS All Access streaming service, with seven additional new episodes, including a second new episode tonight. The second half of the season will be released in January.

GOTHAM Season 4 Trailers, Clips, Featurettes, Images and Posters

The fourth season of the TV series "Gotham" premieres tonight on Fox at 8p. The new season, subtitled "A Dark Knight", finds James Gordon (Ben McKenzie) and Harvey Bullock (Donal Logue) continuing their crusade to keep Gotham safe from an impressive array of twisted criminals.

Meanwhile, Bruce Wayne (David Mazouz) is on his way to becoming the city's Dark Knight, and Don Falcone's daughter Sofia Falcone (Crystal Reed) returns to Gotham after 10 years. The series will also introduce another classic villain, The Scarecrow, after initiating his origin story in the show's first season.

The cast also includes Robin Lord Taylor, Camren Bicondova, Cory Michael Smith, Erin Richards, Drew Powell, Morena Baccarin, Jessica Lucas, Chris Chalk, Michael Chiklis and Sean Pertwee.

MOTHER! Trailers, Clips, Featurette, Images and Posters

"Mother!" is a psychological horror film written and directed by Darren Aronofsky ("Black Swan"). The film's plot would generally be described as following a couple, played by Jennifer Lawrence and Javier Bardem, whose relationship is strained by the arrival of uninvited guests at their home, followed by events that disrupt their tranquil existence.

The narrative, however, should actually be interpreted as an allegory. Aronofsky describes the film as using a "a dream-logic narrative" and that it's a "psychological freak-out" that shouldn't be over-explained. This has led to some controversy as audiences were left confused, especially since the film's marketing has been misleading.

All this resulted in a rare CinemaScore "F" grade from moviegoers and a weak $7.5 million debut. Critics were also somewhat divided on the film's merits. Some praised the director's thought-provoking vision and artistic integrity, while others considered it too outlandish and pretentious.

Paramount chose to release a public statement defending the film: "This movie is very audacious and brave. You are talking about a director at the top of his game, and an actress at the top her game. They made a movie that was intended to be bold. Everyone wants original filmmaking, and everyone celebrates Netflix when they tell a story no one else wants to tell. This is our version. We don’t want all movies to be safe. And it’s okay if some people don’t like it."

The film also stars Michelle Pfeiffer, Ed Harris, Domhnall Gleeson, Brian Gleeson, Kristen Wiig, Jovan Adepo and Stephen McHattie.

"Mother!" opened in theaters on September 15th, 2017.

The second season of the comedy series "The Good Place" airs a special one-hour premiere tonight at 10p on NBC. Created by Michael Schur ("Brooklyn Nine-Nine") the show stars Kristen Bell as Eleanor Shellstrop, a recently deceased young woman who wakes up in heaven, but because she was sent there by mistake, she has to adapt to the rigors of the clean-living afterlife. In the new season, Eleanor and her friends find themselves in a new Good Place with no memories of their previous experiences.

The cast also includes Ted Danson, William Jackson Harper, Jameela Jamil, D'Arcy Carden and Manny Jacino.

AMERICAN ASSASSIN Trailers, Clips, Featurettes, Images and Posters

Directed by Michael Cuesta ("Kill the Messenger"), the action thriller "American Assassin" is an adaptation of the 2010 novel of the same name written by Vince Flynn.

The book and movie follow the rise of Mitch Rapp (Dylan O'Brien), a CIA black ops recruit who is tasked with combating foreign terrorist cells. Rapp is a character created in Flynn's 1999 novel "Transfer of Power", and has since appeared in 14 other books.

The film also stars Michael Keaton, Sanaa Lathan, Shiva Negar, Taylor Kitsch, Scott Adkins, David Suchet and Charlotte Vega.

"American Assassin" opened in theaters on September 15th, 2017 and received mixed to negative reviews. It also scored a modest box-office debut, opening with $14.8 million against a production budget of $33 million.

Emmys 2017: The Complete Winners List

The 69th Annual Primetime Emmy Awards announced its winners on Sunday night during a ceremony hosted by Stephen Colbert at the Microsoft Theater at L.A. Live in downtown Los Angeles.

Top honors were bestowed upon Hulu's "The Handmaid's Tale" for best drama series, HBO's "Veep" for comedy series and "Big Little Lies" for limited series. NBC's "Saturday Night Live" picked up nods for Variety Sketch Series, directing and supporting actors (Kate McKinnon and Alec Baldwin) as a result of a politically charged season aimed mostly at Donald Trump, proving once again that awards shows are more inclined to reward politics rather than quality. Meanwhile, "The Leftovers" was snubbed for its amazing final season. End Of Rant.

In the acting categories, Elisabeth Moss and Ann Dowd scored wins for "The Handmaid's Tale", Sterling K. Brown for "This is Us", and in the limited series category Nicole Kidman, Alexander Skarsgard and Laura Dern took home awards for "Big Little Lies". Julia Louis-Dreyfus nabbed a record-breaking sixth consecutive trophy for "Veep".
