Marvel's "Guardians of the Galaxy Vol. 2" is the fifteenth installment in the Marvel Cinematic Universe, and it continues the adventures of Peter Quill aka Star-Lord (Chris Pratt), Gamora (Zoe Saldana), Drax (Dave Bautista), Rocket (Bradley Cooper) and Groot in his Baby Groot form (Vin Diesel).

The insanely star-studded ensemble cast also includes Michael Rooker, Karen Gillan, Pom Klementieff, Elizabeth Debicki, Chris Sullivan, Sean Gunn, Sylvester Stallone and Kurt Russell. James Gunn returned to write and direct this sequel, and he has also confirmed his involvement as writer and director for a third installment.

"Guardians of the Galaxy Vol. 2" opened in theaters on May 5th, 2017 and received generally positive reviews. The film is expected to finish its opening weekend at the box-office with around $150 million or more, after scoring an impressive $17 million from Thursday night previews.
