Product Description: Comet Control isn't done exploring the vast reaches of psychedelic space rock, but the Toronto-based band is now embracing more clarity, as demonstrated on their new song, ''Dig Out Your Head.'' ''After years of living the night life, any reasonable person should clean up their act,'' vocalist and guitarist Chad Ross said about the track in an email to Speakeasy. ''I need to wake up early on a Sunday morning with a clear head, have a tea, put on a Del Shannon record, and walk the dog.'' ''Dig Out Your Head,'' a gently propulsive tune with a soaring, psych-pop bounce, is the lead track off the band's second album, ''Center of the Maze,'' which is due out June 24. ''Center of the Maze'' sounds ready-made for live performance, but it's also a refined production, with clean, spacey soundscapes and vocals in balance with psychedelic drone.
