The first official trailer and images for the new first-person shooter "Call of Duty: Infinite Warfare" have been released online.
The new installment in the long-running action franchise will take players back to the series' roots, specifically, large scale conflicts and immersive cinematic storytelling. While there are no plot details available in this first trailer, the action is set pretty far off into the future for the first time in the "Call of Duty" games, and will include space battles. However, it remains to be seen if this bold step forward will make for a more compelling single-player campaign than what we've seen lately in the lackluster "Black Ops III" and "Advanced Warfare".
As an extra for those nostalgic "Call of Duty" fans out there, "Infinite Warfare" will also include a remastered version of the first "Modern Warfare" game, and from the looks of it it's a pretty incredible improvement. The updated game will also feature 10 Multiplayer maps from the original game.
"Call of Duty: Infinite Warfare" will be released on November 4th.
Check out the trailer and images after the jump.
