The official trailer, fifteen images and a poster for the religious drama "The Young Messiah" have been released online.

Co-written and directed by Cyrus Nowrasteh ("The Stoning of Soraya M.") and based on the book written by Anne Rice ("Interview with the Vampire"), the film tells the story of Jesus Christ (Adam Greaves-Neal) at age seven as he and his family depart Egypt to return home to Nazareth. The story doesn't rely on the Gospel narrative, but instead tells a warm and surprising story of a child who grows into his religious identity.

The cast also includes Vincent Walsh, Sara Lazzaro, Sean Bean and David Bradley. It also features an incredible score composed by John Debney ("The Passion of the Christ").

"The Young Messiah" opens in theaters on March 11th.
