Sony Pictures has released the first official trailer, images and posters for the upcoming "Ghostbusters" reboot.
Co-written and directed by Paul Feig ("The Heat"), the film will introduce us to a new team of paranormal ghost busters played by Melissa McCarthy, Kate McKinnon, Kristen Wiig, and Leslie Jones. The trailer teases the chemistry between the leads and the updated ghost effects, but there's not much regarding the plot in this one. I didn't find it to be as funny as I was expecting, so for now I will be playing the "let's wait until we see it before judging" card. I trust Feig and his awesome cast, so let's wait and see.
The cast also includes Chris Hemsworth, Andy Garcia, Michael Kenneth Williams, Matt Walsh, Charles Dance and Cecily Strong
"Ghostbusters" opens in theaters on July 15, 2016.
Check out the trailer, images and posters after the jump.
