Buffalo Films has released the official trailer, clips, images and poster for the Colombian adventure drama "Embrace of the Serpent" which is now available in theaters for a limited run.
The film is nominated for the 2016 Best Foreign Language Film Academy Award, and it tells the story of the relationship between an Amazonian shaman and last survivor of his people, and two scientists who work together over the course of 40 years to search the Amazon for a sacred healing plant.
Written and directed by Ciro Guerra, the film stars Antonio Bolivar, Brionne Davis, Jan Bijvoet and Nilbio Torres.
