Today we have the official trailer and poster for the drama "Anesthesia". Written and directed by Tim Blake Nelson, the film tells the story of multiple lives that intersect in the aftermath of the violent mugging of a Columbia University philosophy professor (Sam Waterston). The film also stars Kristen Stewart, Corey Stoll, Glenn Close, Scott Cohen, J. Bernard Calloway and Katie Chang.
"Anesthesia" begins a limited run in theaters today.

Official Synopsis
"This ensemble drama set in New York City begins with philosophy professor (Sam Waterston) being stabbed after stopping to buy his wife, Marcia (Glenn Close), flowers. Elsewhere, his daughter-in-law (Jessica Hecht) battles cancer, a student of his (Kristen Stewart) has self-harm issues, a junkie (K. Todd Freeman) is dragged to rehab by a childhood best friend (Michael K. Williams) and a suburban wife (Gretchen Mol) longs for the city."
