New POINT BREAK Trailer and Posters

A new trailer and five posters for the "Point Break" remake have been released online. The new trailer is a lot more exciting than the first one, with even more crazy stunts, and the posters are as colorful as I would have expected the film's cinematography to be. The filmmakers, however, opted for washed-out dull colours, which still bothers me. This is the directorial debut for "The Fast and the Furious" cinematographer Ericson Core and it stars Edgar Ramirez, Luke Bracey, Ray Winstone, Teresa Palmer and Delroy Lindo.

"Point Break" opens in theaters on December 25th.

THE BIG SHORT Trailer and Images

Today we have the first trailer and images for the drama "The Big Short". Based on "Moneyball" author Michael Lewis' book of the same name, the film marks director Adam McKay's ("Anchorman") first dramatic project, and it tells the story of four outsiders who predicted the 2008 financial crisis and decided to take on the big banks for their lack of foresight and greed. The film kind of has a bit of "The Wolf of Wall Street" vibe, but with a lot more righteous indignation. The spectacular cast includes Christian Bale, Steve Carell, Ryan Gosling, Brad Pitt, Melissa Leo, Tracy Letts, Finn Wittrock, Marisa Tomei, Rafe Spall, Hamish Linklater and Karen Gillan.

"The Big Short" will premiere at AFI Fest, followed by a limited release on December 11th and an expanded run in theaters on December 23rd.

Trailers and Poster for BURNT Starring Bradley Cooper

The Weinstein Company have released three trailers and the official poster for the dramedy "Burnt". Directed by John Wells ("August: Osage County") from a script by Steven Knight ("Eastern Promises"), the film stars Bradley Cooper as Adam Jones, a hotheaded chef whose drug addiction and unstable behavior destroy his promising career. After losing everything, he decides to clean up and return to Paris where he intends to open a new restaurant that will gain him three Michelin stars. The cast also features Sienna Miller, Emma Thompson, Daniel Brühl, Omar Sy, Matthew Rhys, Alicia Vikander, Uma Thurman and Lily James.

"Burnt" opens in theaters on October 23rd.

New THE REVENANT Trailer and Images

A new trailer and nine images for Alejandro Gonzalez Iñárritu's "The Revenant" have been released online. Inspired by true events, the film stars Leonardo DiCaprio as legendary explorer Hugh Glass, who is brutally attacked by a bear and left for dead by the members of his own hunting team while on an expedition of the uncharted American wilderness. Guided by sheer will and the love of his family, he must navigate a vicious winter in a relentless pursuit to live and find redemption. Tom Hardy, Domnhall Gleeson, Will Poulter, Paul Anderson, Lukas Haas and Grace Dove Syme co-star.

"The Revenant" will get a limited release on December 25th and will expand nationwide in January 2016.

RESIDENT EVIL: THE FINAL CHAPTER Set Photos and Synopsis

Paul W.S. Anderson's "Resident Evil: The Final Chapter" is currently filming in South Africa and the first set photos have appeared online. The film will be the last installment in the franchise and it will pick up immediately after the events of "Resident Evil: Retribution". In this last chapter, Alice (Milla Jovovich) must return to Raccoon City to once again fight against the evil Umbrella Corporation. More plot details are available in the synopsis after the jump.

The cast also includes Ali Larter, Wentworth Miller, Iain Glen, Shawn Roberts, Ruby Rose, Eoin Macken, William Levy, Fraser James and Rola.

First JESSICA JONES Teaser Trailers and Images

The first teaser trailers and images for Netflix's upcoming TV series "Jessica Jones" have been released online. This is the second collaboration between Netflix and Marvel based on the titular comic book character. Jessica Jones (Krysten Ritter) is a former superhero who is forced to rebuild her personal life and career by becoming a freelance detective in New York City. Melissa Rosenberg ("Twilight") will assume showrunner duties. The show also stars Mike Colter, David Tennant, Rachael Taylor, and Carrie-Anne Moss.

All episodes of "Jessica Jones" will be available on Netflix on November 20th.

SPECTRE - Action Scenes Featurette, Theme Song and New Posters

Today you can watch a new featurette for Sam Mendes' upcoming James Bond sequel "Spectre", listen to the new theme song and feast your eyes on four new posters. Well, I wish I could say there's some exceptional stuff here, but honestly, apart from the featurette, everything else is pretty average.

The song, "Writing’s on the Wall" performed by Sam Smith is a bit of a disappointment, especially after the huge success of Adele's "Skyfall". Some have even declared it among the worst of the Bond theme songs. If you do enjoy it, however, you can buy the song from iTunes. The posters are also a bit disappointing as they reveal some workmanlike Photoshopping that doesn't really inspire a compulsive need to go see this movie.

The film stars Daniel Craig, Lea Seydoux, Monica Bellucci, Christoph Waltz, Naomie Harris, Stephanie Sigman, Ralph Fiennes, Ben Whishaw, Dave Bautista, Rory Kinnear, and Andrew Scott.

"Spectre" opens in theaters on November 6th.

This week in theaters we have a variety of genres. New PAWN SACRIFICE Clips and Pictures

The Bobby Fischer biopic "Pawn Sacrifice" has received a limited release in theaters and we have 4 clips and 13 images for the film. According to the critics, the film, which is directed by Edward Zwick ("The Last Samurai") and written by Steven Knight ("Eastern Promises"), is a gripping biopic featuring a great performance by Tobey Maguire as Fischer. The film also stars Liev Schreiber, Peter Sarsgaard, Lily Rabe, Robin Weigert and Michael Stuhlbarg.

THE GREEN INFERNO Trailer, Clips, Images and Posters

Today we have the official trailer, clips, images and posters for the horror film "The Green Inferno" which is now in theaters. Directed by Eli Roth, the film is a throwback to gore extravaganzas like "Cannibal Holocaust" as it tells the story of a group of student activists who travel to the Amazon to save the rain forest only to end up on the menu of a local tribe of cannibals. The cast features Lorenza Izzo, Ariel Levy, Kirby Bliss Blanton, Aaron Burns, Magda Apanowicz, Daryl Sabara, Ignacia Allamand, Sky Ferreira and Ramón Llao.

THE INTERN - 7 Clips and 33 Pictures

The comedy "The Intern" opens today in theaters and we have seven new clips and thirty-three images from the movie.

Nancy Meyers ("Something's Gotta Give") writes and directs this story of a 70-year-old widower (Robert De Niro) who decides to abandon retirement and get back in the game by enlisting as a senior intern at an online fashion site, founded and run by Jules Ostin (Anne Hathaway).

The film received mostly mixed reviews. According to the critics, the film doesn't quite deliver on its promising premise, but survives well enough thanks to its talented leads and some occasional sparks from writer/director Meyers.

The film also stars Rene Russo, Anders Holm, Andrew Rannells, Adam Devine, Celia Weston, Nat Wolff, Linda Lavin and Zack Perlman.

HOTEL TRANSYLVANIA 2 Trailer, Clips, Music Video, Images and Posters

"Hotel Transylvania 2" is now in theaters, so here is a new trailer, a few clips, a music video featuring Fifth Harmony's song "I'm In Love With A Monster", 19 images and 19 posters. Genndy Tartakovsky's sequel finds Dracula (Adam Sandler) in trouble as his half-human, half-vampire grandson, Dennis, isn't showing signs of being a vampire, and his grumpy, old school dad Vlad (Mel Brooks) has just arrived at the hotel for an impromptu family get-together. The reviews have been mostly mixed, but that won't scare kids away. The voice cast also includes Andy Samberg, Kevin James, Selena Gomez, Fran Drescher, Steve Buscemi, Molly Shannon, and Keegan-Michael Key.

As we get ready for the October 11th premiere of "The Walking Dead" Season 6, here are two trailers, thirteen images and three posters, which pretty much sums up everything that was released for the new season, so far.

The first trailer, images and poster for the "Angry Birds" movie have been released. Based on the addictive mobile game of the same name, the film tells the story of Red (Jason Sudeikis), a bird with anger management issues who is living on an island populated by flightless birds. When this peaceful paradise is invaded by mysterious green piggies, it's up to Red and his friends to stop them. The voice cast also includes Josh Gad, Danny McBride, Maya Rudolph, Kate McKinnon, Tony Hale, Keegan-Michael Key, Bill Hader, and Peter Dinklage.

"Angry Birds" opens in 3D on May 20, 2016.
