First SISTERS Featurette Parodies STAR WARS: THE FORCE AWAKENS

Sisters Featurette Parodies Star Wars: The Force Awakens

Today we have the first making of featurette for the comedy "Sisters". What sets this apart from all the rest of the behind-the-scenes videos is that it's an incredibly funny parody of the upcoming epic "Star Wars: The Force Awakens", which shares its release date with the comedy.

Tina Fey and Amy Poehler star in the film as two estranged sisters who decide to throw one last house party before their parents sell their family home, but watching them fake english accents to talk about the importance of their film is probably funnier than anything they'll do in the actual movie. I hope director Jason Moore's finished product can measure up to the wit displayed here. Also, Maya Rudolph gets some great comedic work done in this featurette, which could mean that her role in the film will be substantial.

The film also stars Ike Barinholtz, John Leguizamo, Dianne Wiest, John Cena and James Brolin.

"Sisters" opens in theaters on December 18th.

Watch the featurette after the jump.

Official Synopsis
"Tina Fey and Amy Poehler reunite for Sisters, a new film from Pitch Perfect director Jason Moore about two disconnected sisters summoned home to clean out their childhood bedroom before their parents sell the family house. Looking to recapture their glory days, they throw one final high-school-style party for their classmates, which turns into the cathartic rager that a bunch of ground-down adults really need.

Fey produces the comedy alongside Jay Roach (Meet the Parents series) and John S. Lyons (Austin Powers in Goldmember), and Poehler executive produces alongside Jeff Richmond and Brian Bell from a script by Paula Pell (TV’s Saturday Night Live, 30 Rock)."
