Focus Features has released the first trailer and posters for the drama "The Danish Girl". Directed by Tom Hooper ("The King's Speech") and based on a true story, the film stars Eddie Redmayne and Alicia Vikander as artists Lili Elbe and Gerda Wegener, whose marriage and work evolve as they navigate Lili's groundbreaking journey as a transgender pioneer. The film also stars Ben Whishaw, Sebastian Koch, Amber Heard and Matthias Schoenaerts
"The Danish Girl" will premiere at the 2015 TIFF followed by a limited run in theaters on November 27th before expanding nationwide in December.
