HARDCORE Trailer, Images and Poster

Hardcore Movie Trailer, images and Poster

Today we have a red-band trailer, a few images, and a poster for the sci-fi action film "Hardcore". Written and directed by Ilya Naishuller and executive produced by Timur Bekmambetov ("Wanted"), the film is shot entirely from a first-person perspective, very similar to a Call of Duty-type video game in a live-action environment.

The idea originated from Naishuller short "Bad Motherfucker" and the best thing about it is that is seems to work beautifully. The film made its debut at the Toronto International Film Festival and reviews have been excellent. I won't bother you with the plot, which you can read about in the highly original synopsis placed after the jump, just enjoy this great trailer.

The cast includes Sharlto Copley, Haley Bennett, Danila Kozlovsky, Cyrus Arnold and Will Stewart. No official release dates available, for now.

Check out the trailer, images and poster.

Official Synopsis
"You remember nothing. Mainly because you’ve just been brought back from the dead by your wife (Haley Bennett). She tells you that your name is Henry and congratulations, you’re now a cyborg. 5 minutes later, your wife has been kidnapped and you should probably go get her back. Who’s got her? His name’s Akan (Danila Kozlovsky), he’s just a psychotic megalomaniac with telekinetic powers, and a never-ending army of mercenaries. You’re also in an unfamiliar city of Moscow, Russia and everyone wants you dead. Everyone, except for a mysterious British fellow called Jimmy (Sharlto Copley). He might be on your side. Good luck Henry. You’re very much likely to need it."
