The "Mission: Impossible" franchise has become well known particularly for Tom Cruise's death-defying stunts, and the latest installment, "Mission: Impossible - Rogue Nation", takes it one step further. The new featurette focuses on yet another insane stunt which required Cruise to hang on to the side of a plane while the aircraft is taking off. Since the rise of CGI it has become common practice for studios to brag about practical stunts in their movies, and that's a pretty strong statement on the state of filmmaking today.
The sequel is directed by Christopher McQuarrie ("Jack Reacher") and it stars Tom Cruise, Jeremy Renner, Rebecca Ferguson, Simon Pegg, Ving Rhames, Sean Harris, Simon McBurney, America Olivo and Alec Baldwin.
"Mission: Impossible - Rogue Nation" opens in theaters on July 31st.
