A new trailer for Marvel's "Ant-Man" has been released online. The film stars Paul Rudd as Scott Lang, a master thief who gains the ability to shrink in scale but increase in strength with the help of a special suit designed by his mentor, Dr. Hank Pym (Michael Douglas). Together they must pull off a heist that will save the world.
The new trailer gives us more of the characters and the plot, but it's still not very exciting. Sure, there are a lot of neat visual effects, and the final moments of the trailer are truly funny, but it looks like Marvel is having a hard time selling this. Peyton Reed directs from a script by Adam McKay and Paul Rudd, based on the initial story/script developed by Edgar Wright and Joe Cornish.
Evangeline Lilly, Corey Stoll, Bobby Cannavale, Michael Peña, Abby Ryder Fortson, David Dastmalchian, Wood Harris and Judy Greer co-star. "Ant-Man" opens in theaters on July 17th.
