Two trailers and seven posters have been released for the indie horror film "It Follows". Directed by David Robert Mitchell ("The Myth of the American Sleepover"), the film tells the rather unusual story of a teenager (Maika Monroe) who after having a strange sexual encounter finds herself pursued by a malevolent supernatural presence that takes the form of different people. Yeah, it's basically a metaphor for STDs. Now that we've gotten that out of the way, I must say that the trailers are quite chilling, and there's an effective sense of style that hopefully isn't just there for the trailer. The film also stars Keir Gilchrist, Daniel Zovatto, Jake Weary and Olivia Luccardi.

"As 19-year-old Jay’s summer—spent hanging with friends, lounging in a backyard pool—nears an end, her unperturbed suburban existence is about to be horrifyingly upended. After sleeping with a new boyfriend, she’s suddenly pursued, slowly but persistently, by a malevolent supernatural presence that takes the form of different people. Hoping to buy time and devise a plan, Jay and her friends escape to a beach house. But it’s coming."
