We have 6 new clips and 16 images for Angelina Jolie's "Unbroken". The film is based on Laura Hillenbrand's book and it tells the true story of Olympian and World War II hero Louis Zamperini (Jack O’Connell) who survived a plane crash along with two other crewmen and drifted across the ocean in a raft for 47 days only to be caught by the Japanese Navy and sent to a prisoner-of-war camp. Domhnall Gleeson, Finn Wittrock, Miyavi, Alex Russell, Jai Courtney, Carla Thexton and Garrett Hedlund also star.
While the film is an Oscar hopeful, early reviews are not great. The film is apparently not that bad, but it's not a stellar piece of inspirational entertainment, either. Which doesn't necessarily translate to an overlook by the Academy Awards. Plenty of movies in the past received mixed reviews but earned Best Picture nods ("The Reader" comes to mind).
