A new promo trailer and the main title sequence for "American Horror Story: Freak Show" have been released online. The new chapter of Ryan Murphy's anthology series will explore the carny experience of the 1950s, and if the title sequence is any indication, it could be the most twisted season yet. Not to mention the new season's villain is Twisty the Clown (John Carroll Lynch), and everyone knows that you can always count on clowns to deliver true horror. "Freak Show" stars Sarah Paulson, Denis O’Hare, Kathy Bates, Angela Bassett, Frances Conroy, Michael Chiklis, Jessica Lange, Emma Roberts, Gabourey Sidibe, Finn Wittrock, John Carroll Lynch, Jamie Brewer and Evan Peters.

Official Synopsis
"American Horror Story: Freak Show begins its tale in the quiet, sleepy hamlet of Jupiter, Florida. The year is 1952. A troupe of curiosities has just arrived to town, coinciding with the strange emergence of a dark entity that savagely threatens the lives of townsfolk and freaks alike. This is the story of the performers and their desperate journey of survival amidst the dying world of the American carny experience."
