In anticipation of the U.S. release of Joon-ho Bong's "Snowpiercer", a new red band trailer and nine images have been released. Unlike the previous trailer for the film, this one contains a ton of footage and especially some graphic violence. The film envisions a future in which a failed experiment meant to stop global warming destroyed life on Earth and triggered a new ice age. The survivors of this apocalypse boarded the Snowpiercer, a train that travels around the globe. But, things take a turn for the worse when the class system that evolves on this train begins to break down, leading to a brutal revolution. The cast features Chris Evans, Tilda Swinton, John Hurt, Jamie Bell, Alison Pill, Ed Harris, Ewen Bremner, Octavia Spencer, Kang-ho Song and Ko Asung.
"Snowpiercer" finally opens in the U.S. on June 27th.
