A new trailer has been released for "The Purge: Anarchy". The first trailer only focused on a couple whose car breaks down just as the Annual Purge was starting, but the new trailer seems to indicate that the movie will focus on other characters as well. One in particular is the focus of this trailer, a character played by Frank Grillo ("The Grey"), who roams the streets seeking revenge during the Purge, but ends up getting in trouble when he rescues some women from a gang of psychos. Overall, the mayhem in the sequel is cranked way up and the terror feels palpable, unlike the first film where all the craziness of the Purge was mostly hinted at, but not fully developed. The sequel aims to throw us in the middle of the chaos and expand on this wacky universe. There are also rumors according to which the studio is interested in making a Purge movie every year. Michael K. Williams, Zach Gilford, Kiele Sanchez and Carmen Ejogo also star.
"The Purge: Anarchy" opens in theaters on June 20th.
