A full trailer has been released for HBO's upcoming new series "The Leftovers". Based on the Rapture, the series explores the events following the disappearance of the chosen and the chaos and despair that the ones who were left behind must face. The series is created by Damon Lindelof ("Lost") and Tom Perrotta ("Little Children"), and it stars Justin Theroux, Liv Tyler, Christopher Eccleston, Amy Brenneman, Carrie Coon and Ann Dowd. The trailer looks awesome, much darker than you'd expect, and the use of James Blake's song "Retrograde" completes the grim atmosphere.

Official Synopsis
"Revolves around the Rapture and follows a group of people who are left behind in the suburban community of Mapleton. They must begin to rebuild their lives after the sudden and mysterious disappearance of more than 100 people."
