A new featurette has been released for the sci-fi drama "The Giver". The film is based on a novel by Lois Lowry and it depicts an utopian society in which war, pain and suffering have been eradicated. All the memories of the past are kept by a single man, known as "The Giver". At the center of this premise lies a young boy (Brenton Thwaites) who has been chosen to learn from The Giver (Jeff Bridges) and replace him. The featurette further explains the story, giving us a clearer idea about this strange world and its protagonist. The film is directed by Phillip Noyce ("Salt", "Patriot Games", "The Quiet American") and also stars Meryl Streep, Alexander Skarsgard, Katie Holmes, Cameron Monaghan and Taylor Swift.
