A new image has been released by Entertainment Weekly for Gareth Edwards' "Godzilla" remake. The image represents the first official look at the titular monster in all its glory, full details and total distruction included. The monster obviously looks a lot closer to the Japanese original, so those who disliked the lizard look of the 1998 movie will be pleased. The remake stars Aaron Taylor-Johnson, Elizabeth Olsen, Juliette Binoche, David Strathairn, Ken Watanabe and Sally Hawkins.

The screenplay is by Max Borenstein, Frank Darabont, and Dave Callaham. Thomas Tull and Jon Jashni are producing with Mary Parent and Brian Rogers.
