Weekend Box-Office Report: THE LEGO MOVIE, THE MONUMENTS MEN, VAMPIRE ACADEMY

The 3D animated feature "The Lego Movie" became this past weekend's No. 1 hit, grossing $69 million, which was beyond anyone's most optimistic predictions. Meanwhile, George Clooney's World War II heist film "The Monuments Men" opened with a slow $22.7 million in second place, followed by "Ride Along" with $9.3 million. The latter has reached a domestic total of $105 million. The weekend's other wide release, "Vampire Academy" tanked with $4 million and placed seventh in its debut weekend.
