The first trailer for "Dawn of the Planet of the Apes" has been released. The sequel's plot follows Caesar (Andy Serkis) as he tries to maintain dominance over a growing nation of genetically evolved apes who are threatened by a band of humans in San Francisco, survivors of the devastating virus unleashed a decade and a half earlier. The humans and apes reach a fragile peace, but it proves short-lived, as both sides are brought to the brink of a war that will determine who will emerge as Earth's dominant species. And we all know how that's going to turn out.
The film is directed by Matt Reeves ("Let Me In") and it also stars Jason Clarke, Keri Russell, Gary Oldman, Judy Greer, Kodi Smit-McPhee and Toby Kebbell.
