New Trailers: DOM HEMINGWAY, BIG SUR, A CASE OF YOU, BENEATH

Watch the trailers and read the official synopses after the jump. Here is a short description of the movies:

  • The first trailer for the dramedy "Dom Hemingway" starring Jude Law, Richard E. Grant, Emilia Clarke, Jumayn Hunter, Madalina Diana Ghenea and Demian Bichir. Opens on November 15th in the UK and April 4, 2014 in the US.

  • The first trailer for the drama "Big Sur" based on Jack Kerouac's novel of the same name and starring Jean-Marc Barr, Kate Bosworth, Josh Lucas, Anthony Edwards, Radha Mitchell and Patrick Fischler. Opens on November 1st.

  • The first trailer for the romantic comedy "A Case of You" starring Justin Long, Evan Rachel Wood, Peter Dinklage, Sienna Miller and Brendan Fraser. Opens on November 6th.

  • The first teaser trailer for the horror film "Beneath" starring Jeff Fahey, Kelly Noonan, Brent Biscoe and Mark L. Young. No release date announced, but it will premiere at Screamfest on October 8th.

DOM HEMINGWAY

"Jude Law plays DOM HEMINGWAY, a larger-than-life safecracker with a loose fuse who is funny, profane, and dangerous. After twelve years in prison, he sets off with his partner in crime Dickie (Richard E. Grant) looking to collect what he's owed for keeping his mouth shut and protecting his boss Mr. Fontaine (Demian Birchir). After a near death experience, Dom tries to re-connect with his estranged daughter (Emilia Clarke), but is soon drawn back into the only world he knows, looking to settle the ultimate debt."




BIG SUR

"An adaptation of American literary icon Jack Kerouac's novel of the same name, BIG SUR focuses on a moment in Kerouac's life when, overwhelmed by the success of his opus On the Road and struggling to battle inner demons, he seeks respite in three brief sojourns to a cabin in the small, coastal California town of Big Sur. Michael Polish's film is at once a poetic meditation and a love-letter to the work of an author who defined the Beat Generation."




A CASE OF YOU

"A smitten writer creates an alternate online identity in order to charm a pretty barista, and realizes that maintaining his elaborate ruse is easier said than done in this quirky romantic comedy starring and co-written by Justin Long. Every day when Sam (Long) ventures down to the local coffee shop, his gaze seems to linger on Birdie just a little bit longer. Hopelessly dejected after being shot down by the pretty barista, Sam creates an online alter ego who's dashing, athletic, and adventurous. Before long Birdie is completely swept off her feet, but the harder she falls for her internet dream guy, the further she seems to slip out of Sam's reach. Now in order to keep her Sam must become something he is not, but what good is love when you can't even be yourself? Sam Rockwell, Peter Dinklage, Brenden Fraser, Sienna Miller, and Vince Vaughn co-star."




BENEATH

"A crew of coal miners becomes trapped 600 feet below ground after a disastrous collapse.
