Buzz is already starting to build around the new James Bond sequel. Yesterday it was confirmed that "Skyfall" director Sam Mendes would indeed return to helm "James Bond 24", even though he initially turned down the offer. And today we get the first casting news. Academy Award winner Penelope Cruz is in talks to star as the new Bond girl in the 24th installment of the long-running franchise and the press has been quick to notice that she will be the oldest Bond girl to date (currently 39 years old). MGM is moving fast with the sequel, it seems, since filming on "James Bond 24" is scheduled to begin next summer. No release date has been set, but if things move quickly enough we could be looking at a 2015 release.
