In Theaters : PROJECT X (2012)

Official Synopsis : “Project X” follows three seemingly anonymous high school seniors as they attempt to finally make a name for themselves. Their idea is innocent enough: let’s throw a party that no one will forget… but nothing could prepare them for this party. Word spreads quickly as dreams are ruined, records are blemished and legends are born. “Project X” is a warning to parents and police everywhere.

Genre: Comedy

Critical Response : Negative. "Project X" excells at nothing other than wanton excess. Pointless and mostly unoriginal, the movie, produced by Todd Phillips ("The Hangover"), is a showcase of the most outlandish and offensive humor imaginable. Although critics did not appreciate this exercise in extreme vulgarity and considered it a worthless piece of junk, if you're a fan of raunchy comedies you might be able to enjoy this. Rated 25% on Rottentomatoes.com from 17 positive and 50 negative reviews (Average score : 4.3 out of 10).
