Critical Response : Negative. Basically a rehash of the previously successful formula of mixing action, comedy and romance, which you've already seen in "Mr. & Mrs. Smith", this new movie, directed by McG, was widely panned for being an absurd, unfunny, mess of an action comedy. Not even the three charismatic stars could save the movie from collapsing beneath its own silliness. One critic brutally sums up the movie's flaws : "A disaster on a conceptual level, McG's latest is a trainwreck of botched stunts, unfunny gags, and tuneless performances, pieced together with minimal interest in any sort of engaging cinematic clarity.". Rated 24% on Rottentomatoes from 23 positive and 72 negative reviews (Average score : 4.2 out of 10).
