Official Synopsis : Nicolas Cage reprises his role as Johnny Blaze in Ghost Rider Spirit of Vengeance. In this gritty new vision for the character, directed by Neveldine/Taylor (Crank), Johnny is still struggling with his curse as the devil's bounty hunter - but he may risk everything as he teams up with the leader of a group of rebel monks (Idris Elba) to save a young boy from the devil... and possibly rid himself of his curse forever.

Critical Response : Negative. "Ghost Rider: Spirit of Vengeance" was unable to lift the curse of its predecessor's rotten reviews. The movie was not screened for critics and there seems to be a very good reason for it. Nicolas Cage is as campy as ever and while there are impressive action sequences, what's in-between is truly awful. The script is flimsy and the pair of "Crank" directors fail to take full advantage of the character's dark nature, so much so, that one critic actually wonders what Ghost Rider might have been if the studio would have dared to give it an R-rated treatment. Rated 12% on Rottentomatoes.com from 3 positive and 22 negative reviews (Average Score : 4 out of 10).
