In Theaters : YOUNG ADULT (2011)

Official Synopsis : Charlize Theron plays Mavis Gary, a writer of teen literature who returns to her small hometown to relive her glory days and attempt to reclaim her happily married high school sweetheart (Patrick Wilson). When returning home proves more difficult than she thought, Mavis forms an unusual bond with a former classmate (Patton Oswalt) who hasn't quite gotten over high school, either.

What to Expect : A dark comedy that re-teams the writer and the director of "Juno". Plenty of witty dialogue and thoughtful insight are trademarks of this duo. Also worthy of mention is Charlize Theron's remarkable performance.

Critical Response : Positive. Critics loved Cody's skillful writing, Reitman's masterful direction and Theron's committed performance and remarked that "Young Adult" is one of the most memorable movies of 2011. Rated 79% on Rottentomatoes.com from 49 positive and 11 negative reviews.
