Official Synopsis : Ever since his wife was burned in a car crash, Dr. Robert Ledgard, an eminent plastic surgeon, has been interested in creating a new skin with which he could have saved her. What to Expect : A dark and disturbing arthouse flick. In short, the typical Almodovar film. You'll either love it, or hate it.

Critical Response : Positive. When has an Almodovar movie ever been reviewed with anything but earnest enthusiasm ? Never, that's when. Even if the director switched to a darker twisted genre and entered the realm of Hitchcockian suspense, the critics still enjoyed his subtle touches and dramatic flare, the end result being an imperfect, but playfully shocking thriller full of brilliant twists. Rated 82% on Rottentomatoes.com from 51 positive and 11 negative reviews.
