In Theaters : THE IDES OF MARCH (2011)

Official Synopsis : The Ides of March takes place during the frantic last days before a heavily contested Ohio presidential primary, when an up-and-coming campaign press secretary (Ryan Gosling) finds himself involved in a political scandal that threatens to upend his candidate's shot at the presidency.

What to Expect : Tense political drama with a great ensemble of actors at the top of their game. Another wonderful achievement from writer/director George Clooney. A must-see.

Critical Response : Positive. Critics hailed "The Ides of March" as another major success for Clooney. Pretty much every review praised the cast and Clooney's sharp direction and cool pacing, although some felt that the story is a little too familiar. Despite some mixed reviews, one critic abandons all restraint and calls the movie : "An intoxicating pleasure". Rated 83% on Rottentomatoes.com from 92 positive and 19 negative reviews.
