New on DVD & Blu-Ray : TRANSFORMERS: DARK OF THE MOON (2011)

Synopsis: A mysterious event from Earth's past threatens to ignite a war so big that the TRANSFORMERS™ alone will not be able to save the planet. Sam Witwicky (Shia LaBeouf) and the AUTOBOTS™ must fight against the darkness to defend our world from the DECEPTICONS'™ all-consuming evil in the smash hit from director Michael Bay and executive producer Steven Spielberg.

Genre: Action, Sci-Fi, Adventure, Comedy

Worldwide Box-Office: $1.1B(illion)

Number of Discs: 1 (DVD); 2 (Blu-Ray/DVD Combo + Digital Copy)

DVD & Blu-Ray Special Features : Not Announced

What to Expect : Brain-numbing wanton destruction, orchestrated by the master of mayhem, Michael Bay. Jaw-dropping visual effects, stunning set pieces and great new additions to the cast (Patrick Dempsey, Frances McDormand, John Malkovich, Ken Jeong) elevate the show way above the underwhelming "Revenge of the Fallen". Detractors of Bay and his robot franchise will not find anything redeeming here, but anyone seeking some good ol' trashy fun is going to love it. Unfortunately, if you want any special features, you'll have to wait for the 3D Blu-Ray Special Edition, which is going to be released in the next couple of months.

Release Date : September 27, 2011

Run Time : 157 Min.

Studio/Distributor : Paramount

Rating : PG-13 for intense prolonged sequences of sci-fi action violence, mayhem and destruction, and for language, some sexuality and innuendo.
