What to Expect : A strange and sympathetic movie that highlights Mel Gibson in what is widely considered his best role ever. No matter what your opinion about the actor is, it's hard to turn your eyes away from Gibson as he breaks away from the overwrought script to deliver an unhinged performance. Still, the movie's way too weird to be fully enjoyable, so a rental is highly recommended, unless you already have very warm feelings towards it.
