Synopsis: From the makers of Paranormal Activity and Saw comes an even more terrifying prospect: Insidious. Josh (Patrick Wilson, Watchmen, Hard Candy) and Renai (Rose Byrne, X-Men: First Class, 28 Weeks Later) are a happily married couple with three young children who have moved into an idyllic new suburban home. When tragedy strikes their young son, Josh and Renai begin to experience things in the house that are beyond explanation. Before long, their lives are turned upside down by demonic forces, hell-bent on terrorising their existence. Forced to seek help and protect their family, the couple learn the terrifying truth: it's not the house that's haunted, but something far worse.

What to Expect : A throwback to the days when "Poltergeist" was a ground-breaking horror. Since then, however, many have tried and most have failed in cloning the success of that movie. "Insidious" is much better than most haunted house movies out there and manages to create a terrifying atmopshere. It still has some problems managing the genre cliches, but it's a top-notch addition to the collection of any horror fan.
