New on DVD & Blu-Ray : DIARY OF A WIMPY KID: RODRICK RULES

The sequel to the 2010 surprise hit (exact words of the official synopsis), just isn't that surprising anymore. Once again we follow Greg's adventures in middle-school, only this time the story also involves his parent's attempts to have him and his sadistic brother bond. The wit is gone and the movie feels too self-aware of how successful it's supposed to be, which kind of makes it seem like it was made on auto-pilot by everyone involved. To be fair, it's not all bad, so if you're in the mood for some 10-year-old humor, go for it.

DVD Special Features (2-Discs) :
  • Six "My Summer Vacation" Shorts
  • Six Deleted Scenes
  • Gag Reel
  • Theatrical Trailer

Blu-Ray Special Features :
  • [same as the DVD]
  • One additional "My Summer Vacation" Short
  • Four additional Deleted Scenes
  • Alternate Ending
