The unforgettable movie trilogy that has forever changed the way we look at epic filmmaking, "The Lord of the Rings" saga, is now released on Blu-Ray, with all three movies featured in their extended form. As you can expect the Hi-Def quality is sharp as always and there are plenty of Special Features to keep you busy for a week or so, not to mention how long it takes to watch all three extended movies (about 11 hours). Fans of Tolkien's work will no doubt enjoy the complete versions of each movie a lot more. If you absolutely love "The Lord of the Rings", you don't mind the extra running time and don't already own the extended editions on DVD, this is one collection you should definitely pick up. The Special Features, curiously, are contained on DVDs. Only the feature films are on Blu-Ray discs. Read on to see what exactly you'll find inside that box.
