"The Whistleblower" tells the true story of Kathryn Bolkovac, a Nebraska cop, working as a peacekeeper, who risks her job and even her life to uncover a human-trafficking scandal involving US military contractors and the United Nations in postwar Bosnia. It stars Rachel Weisz, Monica Belluci, David Strathairn and Vanessa Redgrave. Winner of the Audience Award at the Palm Spring International Film Festival. The only available release dates are for the US on August 5th, probably a limited release and for Switzerland on September 29, 2011.
