The cast of Ridley Scott's
"Prometheus" grows larger with some pretty solid names. The newest addition to the roster is
"Memento" actor Guy Pearce. There is no information regarding the role he will play in Scott's epic sci-fi prequel (sort of) to
"Alien". Already cast in the the movie are Noomi Rapace, Michael Fassbender, Charlize Theron, Idris Elba, Sean Harris, Kate Dickie, Rafe Spall and Logan Marshall-Green. So far it's a spectacular team of actors and Scott has a way of getting some brilliant performances from his actors. Not to mention the fact that he truly has an eye for the epic. The connections to the
"Alien" universe are still somewhat obscure, but if they say it has a strand of that franchise's DNA, then we'll have to take their word for it. It certainly makes the waiting all the more exciting.
